Bordeaux has daily flights and fly-drive facilities from the UK.

Angouleme has a TGV station. St. Malo is a 5 hour drive away.

Travelling by car from the North or South, take junction 37 off the A10 autoroute, signposted Mirambeau, continue through Montendre to Montlieu-la-Garde. At Montlieu-la-Garde, take the N10 North, signposted Barbezieux / Angouleme. Come off at Chevanceaux, go through the village. As you are leaving the village, take the D142 signposted Jonzac. Go through Chantillac and approximately 2 miles later you will come to a crossroad, turn left to Merignac. In Merignac, just past the Maire, turn right at the crossroad and Le Lilas Blanc is approximately 300 yards on the right.
